Wednesday in the Northwestern Room (2nd floor Norris) promises to be an exciting meeting. Here's a sneak preview of the business that's going to steal the show:
Currently, there is debate among administrators and students on whether adding video technologies to classrooms should be implemented for the purpose of recording lectures and adding video support for distant learning, videoconferencing, and podcasting.

Dillo Day is a week later this year, on May 31, 2008, and will be the best one yet!
- Michael Hsu was appointed and confirmed to a vacant seat on the SAFB.
- A bill concerning group executive accountability for Executive Committee members was passed and added to the ASG code.
- The 2008 Campus-Wide Election Guidelines (for the elections of the President, Executive VP, Academic VP, and Student Services VP) were confirmed.
- President Jonathan Webber submitted the ASG budget for a vote next week.
This Week in the ASG Senate: · -The senate approved the appointment of Seva Rodnyansky as the new Financial Vice President. · -The senate voted to uphold the SAFB decision to de-recognize the Flickr Film Festival as an A-status group. · -$21,420.80 was allocated to B-status student groups. · -The senate passed a bill to lobby the administration to change the university's non-discrimination policy to include "gender identity and expression." Additionally, the bill changes the ASG non-discrimination policy for group recognition to include "gender identity and expression, parental status, disability, citizenship, or veteran status."
